Originally from New Brunswick, Maude took her first steps on the stage at the age of two with the show troupes “Acadia of the Land” and “Forests in Celebration”, emblematic shows of the Madawaska region. These shows have taken her on tour in New Brunswick, Quebec and Europe. In addition to the 18 years she spent with these troupes, she also had the chance to procure professional contracts such as in the musical “The Melody of Happiness” A Just for Laughs production and “Consequences”, a television series broadcasted on Radio-Canada.

In addition to her training as a singer / actress, Maude took classical piano lessons at the Université de Moncton for ten years. Being deeply passionate about music, she followed her instincts and decided to leave her native Acadia to study jazz composition and arrangement at Cégep de Saint-Laurent.

A true ball of energy, Maude is unable to fixate on a preconceived idea of music. She is always on the lookout for new styles, new artists and new ways to approach music! Stimulated by many styles, Maude knows how to adapt to her students and listen to their interests. For her, music is first and foremost an art form and it is important never to lose its essence.
